Leaps Of Nonsense & The Secret Place Conference

Keep getting emails from Australians about Todd Bentley and Patricia King.

First off from Patricia King, Extreme Prophetic Ministries:

Patricia King

Hello friends,

wanted to ask you to be praying for the Leap of Faith event next week in Texas. I believe God is going to do great things in the life of those who attend. If you aren’t able to come please be praying for us.

If you are in Texas or in driving distance I want to invite you to come out. Georgian Banov, Ryan Pena, Todd White, & myself will be sharing the word of God. Jonathan Williams will be leading worship. It’s going to be an amazing time!

You can get more information at www.xpmedia.com and click on events.

Lots of love,
Patricia

More Info The Father has created a “holy atmosphere” that the world cannot penetrate–it’s called the secret place. It is here that true believers in Jesus Christ can find a place of freedom, where bridal love for Jesus can intensify, both in intimacy and overflowing, life-giving joy! Are you longing to experience a deep awareness of the Holy Spirit’s presence in your life? God wants to teach you how to abide in his presence, undisturbed by the cares of this world.

The very heartbeat of Fresh Fire is intimacy with Jesus and the secret place. It’s from this lifeline that our DNA for miracles, signs and wonders flows. Because of this reality, we have purposed to begin each year with a conference devoted to the pursuit of our great God–the One who sits on the Throne and resides in the hearts of His people. It is with this heart that we host our annual Secret Place conference.

  1. I met someone once who was a fully fledged member of Patricia King’s online church. They were as committed to it as others were to their more physically accessible church communities. (Maybe more!)

  2. Quote: “Another remarkable parallel may be found in
the language of Irenseus with regard to a later school of Gnostics the Marcosians, or disciples of Marcus, a follower of Yalentinus. ‘ Some of these,’ he says, * prepare a bridal chamber, and perform certain mystic rites of initiation with incantations addressed to the persons being initiated. This ceremony they say is a spiritual marriage after the similitude of the celestial unions.” (From Gnostic Heresies of the first and second century, p.49)

Therefore these “preachers” are responsible for a brand of Gnosticism 2.0.

  3. well of course they are.

They live very well off the back of it too. I’m sure that the money they demand for their services doesn’t completely line their pockets.

Todd is still living off the money he fleeced in Lakeland.

Still, he does do the work of his father … SATAN.

  4. That’s an amazing find Joey! I’ve heard Mike Bickle, Misty Edwards, John Crowder, Brandon Barthrop and Phil Mason (New Earth Tribe, Byron Bay) use those EXACT ‘hidden scriptures’ for exactly the same thing.

I believe this stems from Mike Bickle’s ‘Bridal Paradigm’, a heresy and practice that even a local newspaper in America reported on.

  5. @specksandplanks – no that is just me showing my christian heresy nerdish side that I thought of that book. 🙂

Christian mysticism was a major interest of mine for a while, probably the last remmants of my old fashioned Catholic upbringing. If you read the books of true christian classic teachers against heresies you will see some modern preachers are preaching just what the ancient heretics are now. “The more things change, the more they stay the same”. I find that Apprising Minstries website on this blog’s list covers this new generation of the New gnostic/mystics very well.
