Blow The Trumpet, Warn the People, Laugh Your Heads Off

Days left: 00

Family Radio says:

What will take place on May 21?

On May 21, 2011 two events will occur. These events could not be more opposite in nature, the one more wonderful than can be imagined; the other more horrific than can be imagined.

A great earthquake will occur the Bible describes it as “such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.” This earthquake will be so powerful it will throw open all graves. The remains of the all the believers who have ever lived will be instantly transformed into glorified spiritual bodies to be forever with God.

On the other hand the bodies of all unsaved people will be thrown out upon the ground to be shamed.

The inhabitants who survive this terrible earthquake will exist in a world of horror and chaos beyond description. Each day people will die until October 21, 2011 when God will completely destroy this earth and its surviving inhabitants.

  1. Apocalypse now in October, preacher says

Mr Camping says he now believes his forecast is playing out “spiritually”.

The evangelical Christian broadcaster whose Judgment Day prophecy went unfulfilled on Saturday has set a new date for the impending apocalypse, saying the May 21 date was a miscalculation.

Instead of the world physically coming to an end on Saturday with a great, cataclysmic earthquake, as he had predicted, Harold Camping says he now believes his forecast is playing out “spiritually,” with the actual apocalypse set to occur five months later, on October 21.

Mr Camping, who launched the doomsday countdown in which some followers spent their life’s savings in anticipation of being swept into heaven, issued his correction during an appearance on his Open Forum radio show from Oakland, California.

During a sometimes rambling, 90-minute discourse that included a question-and-answer session with reporters, Mr Camping, 89, said he felt bad that Saturday had come and gone without the Rapture he had felt so certain would take place.

Reflecting on scripture afterward, Mr Camping said it “dawned” on him that a “merciful and compassionate God” would spare humanity from “hell on Earth for five months” by compressing the physical apocalypse into a shorter time frame.

But he insisted that October 21 has always been part of his end times chronology, marking the final day of the apocalypse when the world will come to an end.

He now says the apocalypse will begin on that day.

  2. Now there’s calls for legal action against Camping.

    Right on cue.

Free speech will be increasingly restricted, thanks to these jokers.

I saw on WND they referred to Camping’s prediction as the publishing of “wrong information”.

    “Information” ???

Setting a date for the end of the world does not qualify as “information”, period.

Imagine if someone were preaching the tooth fairy, and they were prosecuted for spreading “wrong information”?

A secular society would not be able to justly prosecute Camping for anythng. I can’t see he’s broken any law.

The irony is that Camping is probably less of a fraud than many of the stars of christendom. He’s certainly less fraudulent than the Roman Catholic Church, Mormons, JWs etc.. Who’s gonna take legal action against them, for all the lives they have destroyed?

If they want to prosecute Camping, let them also prosecute Islam. Who has murdered more people?
