God can use sin to fill churches

Pastors Keith and Mary Hudson

God works in mysterious ways — and in the eyes of Katy Perry‘s parents, her recent divorce from Russell Brand is one of the ways, because God used to the divorce to fill the rafters of their church.

Pastors Keith and Mary Hudson preached to the congregation at Church On The Rise in Westlake, OH on Wednesday, says The Sun, in an appearance that was advertised by the church.

Perry’s mom, Mary, speaking for the first time about the split, told parishioners, “I’m sure Katy is trending on the internet just to get you to church tonight. I mean all over the world, who knows how God is bringing them in? The most important thing is you are here and God wants to put the fire in you in 2012.”

At one point, Perry’s dad said, “What has taken place in my daughter’s life has opened many opportunities to go in and be with guarded and gated people. God has given us a platform to go in and meet people — and they like us because we are cool. We are not threatening.”

According to the paper, a video was shown beforehand that featured the Hudsons at award shows with Katy. The Hudsons are scheduled to appear tomorrow at a church in Georgia and the video below is on the church’s site promoting the appearance.

Malachi 2:16
“For I hate divorce,” says the LORD, the God of Israel, “and him who covers his garment with wrong,” says the LORD of hosts. “So take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

  1. Sounds like another case of yechyoumenakillism…

Given us access to gated communities? Sheesh – “Do not envy the rich, for their judgment awaits them at the gates…

Non threatening? Who should you fear? “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell

So, when they come into your midst they shall verily feel the presence of Katy and shall fall down and glorify their god…yech…what is happening folks? Roundhouse asked me if I had been to earth lately…I would say have you noticed how much the world is going to “hell” lately? it is getting crazier by the day as the Apostasy holds sway, everyone committed to his or her own way…making it up as they go along…

God showed me once what He thought of divorce – it was the most horrible, gut wrenching disgust – God takes the breaking of covenant so seriously because of what it does to people – the only time I ever had the same sense was when praying for Hank Paulson and God showed me what He thought about rich young rulers given over to Mammon who claimed to be servants of Christ. God hates hypocrisy, and He hates what it does to folk.

  2. Yeah, Ian. I have a friend who’s now an Anglican priest who has a devil tattoo on his foot because he thought it was cool in his younger years.

The church is filled with sinners.

Apparently some sins are better than others.

  3. Nah all sin is the same – just like we all get one denarius we all share alike one salvation. Tell me do, did the Anglican Priest swear allegiance to Her Mad You See, Queen E Lizard’s Breath, or to The Crown? Same team sunshine, same team…its all Babylon. The Anglicans are a strange bunch – I used to be one before I graduated to Word of Faith and then after some time got delivered from Christian Cultism through a close encounter of the Toronto kind. Shudder. I did learn a lot though about how stuff works in religious circles.

Remember that where God is really working, the devil is never far away – why would he waste his time with folk who don’t give a rat’s ass and who are more interested in what is on TV or their computer. Did you realize that 30% of all computer traffic is to porn sites and that 80% of them are owned or controlled by ‘Druish’ interests?

As for Katy, how can anyone sell their soul to Satan? It is not theirs to sell! It has been bought with a price! Of course God accepts us as sinners, but of course the idea is really to go, sin no more, but then we are human and our rimose ramparts are compounded by the enemy within, the inordinate desires of the rampant flesh man who needs to be humbled before God. The “dog” in us which contradicts the God in us.

Now I mentioned recently about remember the Germans – and today stumbled across an interview with the author of the book, Spycatcher, British Barrister Michael Shrimpton. Now don’t balk at the fact that David “icky sticky” Icke is involved. Listen to what Shrimpton has to say and ponder why he would say such things in the public domain, on a public radio station. He has found, I think, what many have, that it is best to be utterly out there and make it known and prefer to appear mad than to appear in the death notices.

The Germans may have “lost” the war, but they have “won” the peace – and now with the French and Americans saying it is going to take years to repatriate their gold reserves, expect some ramifications. One of the most chilling things I ever heard was an interview with German flower growers in Kenya who were fleecing their local workers and exposing them to incredible privations and dangers so that Germans could buy cheap flowers. I was utterly gobsmacked by the arrogance – it was beyond the pale. I worked in Brisbane for a while with a team which included a very clever German and a very blunt Brit, who reminded me that Gunther’s behavior was typically German, “The bastards still want to rule the bloody world”. And guess what? They do.

    Never ever forget the Germans…..

  4. You just never know what’s going to be in one of Ian’s posts.

    Love your expressions.
