  1. Has Tom Cruise been using low-rung Church of Scientology worker bees to do his evil bidding? Yes — if you consider home renovations and car repairs nefarious.

Fifteen former church members have filed affidavits accusing the star of paying them a piddly $1 an hour to do various things for him, according to Radar Online.

Former member John Brousseau says Scientology head honcho David Miscavige enlisted him to fully renovate Cruise’s Beverly Hills home, as well as build a custom motorhome and limo, all for just a buck an hour.

The affidavits are part of a lawsuit against Miscavige by ex-member Monique Rathbun, who says the church leader unleashed a systematic campaign of spying and harassment on her.

It makes the exploitation of Bible-college students and musicians in the mega-churches look like a socialist workers paradise.

  2. What was with the background music? I kept thinking it was the neo-Western like the film “Dead Man”.

Thankfully, the presentation and performance aspect of this didn’t get too much in the way of the facts presented.
